Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Canada’s premier fashion shopping destination, wanted a new online look and fresh content, plus enhanced administrative features and search optimization techniques for their already established website.
They commissioned Dotfusion to help with the new site and the formulation of long-term online strategies, including data collection, database-driven content, flash experiences, and email marketing. Naturally, we made sure that everything was suitably informative, user-friendly and, above all else, elegant. |
Performance
Integration with previously existing systems and building in dynamic web content is no problem for the Dotfusion team. The V3 upgrade of Yorkdale.com has meant the site is now found by more people and the brand experience has become more enjoyable to them.
Yorkdale’s marketing group demanded strict accountability from us and we were happy to comply. The results are in and site usability is up, a merchant sponsored contest strategy will double the loyal email subscriber base within the year, and search optimization tactics have increased targeted traffic referrals by 400% over just a three-month period. We anticipate yet another major traffic surge going into online gift certificate sales for Holiday 2006. |
